BCC Institute Staff Profile December 2019

Q1 What is your first name?
Jonna
Q2 What is your role at BCC Institute?
Receptionist and administration staff.
Q3 What is your earliest memory of Australia?
The first thing I’ve remember is about my family. Living away from my family was the hardest part for me. Every sleepless night was a burden. I missed them so much but couldn’t do anything but to fight and continue my journey. I knew this situation was just temporary. But I thank God for giving me a second family, they treated me like a family. I’m so blessed and grateful for having them. So I learnt in life that no matter how crucial the situation is, God will send you his Angels.
Q4 Did you play any sports or have any hobbies as a teenager?

Basketball and volleyball.
Q5 What was your best job/why?
Primary teacher, working with the kids was such a great job for me, all those lovely eyes with sweet smiles always made my day complete.
Q6 Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
My parents serve as my inspiration with my career right now. They are not a graduate of any bachelor degree, yet they value education. They keep on telling us that education is the only heirloom that they could give. They support me financially and emotionally. They are the best parents! What I am and what I have today is because of them. Now, is the best time to pay them back for all their sacrifices.
Q7 What is your favourite place in Sydney?
My favourite place for now here in Sydney is Coogee Beach. That beach is so relaxing and adventurous. I haven't explored all of it yet.
Q8 If you could visit any country, where would you go?
I want to visit Paris, the City of Love!
Q9 What advice would you give to new students?
Everyday is a great blessing.There's no reason to give up and lose hope. Remember the reason why you are here, you have a purpose in this world. You are always blessed. Keep Fighting.
