Q1 What is your first name and nationality?
Jess, British
Q2 How long have you been in Australia?
5 years
Q3 As a child, what job did you want to have when you grew up?
A dancer.
Q4 What is your country famous for?
Fish and chips!
Q5 What was your first job? Best job/why?
I worked in my Dad’s fish and chip shop! My best job so far was owning a food truck.
Q6 What are you studying at BCC Institute? Do you like it? Why/why not?
Early Childhood Care. I find it very helpful but mostly I love my classmates and my tutor.
Q7 What are some things that you have done in Australia?
I worked on some farms in 2016, picking grapes and then tomatoes. I’ve been to Byron Bay, the Blue Mountains and Melbourne.
Q8 Other than the present, which historical era would you like to have lived in and why?
I’d love to have been part of the Baby Boomer generation, where the economy and the population thrived. Buying a house and raising a family was easy!
Q9 What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being an Aunt to my 4 gorgeous nephews.
Q10 What advice would you give to a student planning on studying your course?
Make friends with everyone in the class! They’ll help you and make you laugh.
